I get an error when I put the CD in my drive! What is wrong? |
Usually this is caused by a missing reference component required by the CD's autoplay function. You can download the missing component by clicking HERE to download it directly from Microsoft. Once you download it, just double-click to install. Restart your computer after the installation and insert the UWJ CD again. |

How do I register my UWJ? |
IMPORTANT NOTE: The registration process for UWJ is 2 steps. The first step is done online or via telephone, and provides you with the data required by the program to complete registration. The second part is the actual entering of the registration data into the program.
1.Start UWJ and click the Register button. A 5-character code will appear in the center of the registration screen. Leave that screen open and start your internet browser. Go to the registration form and fill it out, placing the 5-digit code from the UWJ registration screen in the Keycode field. Or, you can call 1-866-WLD-FOWL to go through the registration process. Submit the registration data; you will receive a customer ID code and a License Key. 2. Enter those two codes and your name into the proper places on the UWJ registration screen. Click the button on the bottom of the registration window to enter the registration data into the program and complete registration. *Note: Depending on the resolution of your monitor, you may have to drag the UWJ registration screen up a bit to see the Enter Registration Data button. |

I get an error when I try to use the calendar to enter a hunt date. |
The calendar control seems to be incompatible with Windows XP. You will need to manually enter the date. Short date format (m/d/yy) will work fine, UWJ will reformat it to the long format automatically. |

My photos are in .GIF format. Why can't I load them into the album? |
The corporation that holds the patent on the GIF compression technology requires all developers to pay license fees to build GIF-compatible control into a program. Since the license fees charged are out of question on my limited budget, I had no choice but to lock out use of GIF image files. |
